I like the occasional romanticizing of history if it's entertaining. Nioh games also have Yasuke in there as the "Obsidian Samurai", but everyone in that game also got a glow up given their fantastical setting. Koei Tecmo didn't pass up Nioh as historically accurate that Assassin's Creed does like with their earlier games. Yasuke didn't get special treatment just because he's black, and his appearance didn't overshadow any of the other cast especially the Japanese protagonist.
